Miranda July, Craigslist Reseller
Last week, I attended the opening for Miranda July’s new project, “It Chooses You,” a store based on her new book (published by McSweeney’s) of the same name. The store, at Partner’s and Spade in SoHo, is an exercise in buying belongings from New York-area Craigslist sellers and reselling the contents for the exact same price. Examples varied from an entire drum kit to a pair of small deer hooves. July, who was recently profiled in the magazine, interviewed all the sellers and repackaged the goods with interviews attached. By the time I arrived, 45 minutes into the show, nearly all of the belongings were sold out. Here is one item that was available, with its corresponding interview:

Cyber Seduction: His Secret Life
Plot[edit] Justin Petersen is a popular 16-year-old high school student and a successful swimmer with a steady girlfriend, Amy. Justin's coach announces that Justin has made the All-State team, which pleases his parents, particularly his mother Diane, who used to swim as well. Justin is introduced to internet pornography when a friend sends him a link to a softcore featuring Monica, a fellow student who has a crush on him. Captivated, Justin is then exposed to a porn film at a party, and later browses more explicit pornographic websites, only to be caught by his mother. It is easy for Diane to be aware of her son's behavior, as Justin does little to make his activities clandestine.

The waste production world wide is enormous and if we do not do anything we will soon have turned all our resources into one big messy landfill.
Micmacs à tire-larigot 2009 France
This is a revenge movie. A young boy with his family shattered, grows into a man who vows to destroy the social and commercial mechanisms that sundered his family. This would sound like a grim plotline for anyone else… anyone else but Jean-Pierre Jeunet the writer/director of Amelie.

June 7, 2012 Are Chia Seeds The Perfect Superfood? In South America, as far back as 3000 BC, Chia Seeds (Salvia Hispanica) had been a staple of daily nutrition and commerce in Pre-Columbian societies. In Mayan and Aztec life, the seed was so important, it was incorporated into religious ceremonies and tribal trading, even having the harvest time for the seeds outlined in ancient Aztec calendars. It seems it only took modern day humans another 5000 years to revive the importance for these super seeds which are truly amazing and whose health benefits are still being discovered.
