Mean Green Juice Recipes | My Juice Cleanse I’m on Day 17 of my Juice Reboot! I watched Joe Cross’s film “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead” and I was inspired. After two back surgeries, may procedures, and severe chronic pain, I’ve ballooned up in weight. I’ve tried every diet but my metabolism seems out of sync with all the cortisone injections and medicines. So far, I’ve only lost 10 pounds but I’ve lost 2 inches in my waist and 2 inches in my hips and my pants are hanging more loosely. I bought the Breville Juice Fountain Plus, centrifugal juicer. My favorite recipe is 3 apples, 3 carrots, 3-6 Kale leaves, piece of ginger size of thumb. For you ladies, I’ve also noticed that the pores on my nose have shrunk a bit.
