Don’t just blurt it out… “Will you be my bridesmaid!!??” Take time to plan something nice for your friends… they are going to have to put up with your every demand for the future months. Pin Start by marking lines on the top of your box to create guides for stamping. Since our stamping is aligned at the right, I started stamping from the right side; or backwards. If your box top is like mine, it might sag a little towards the middle… make sure you apply even pressure with your stamp. I always like to test out each stamp along the way… check twice and stamp once. Keep stamping until it reads, “Will you be my…”. Since the box had a slight texture to it, I had to fill in some little spots with a fine black marker. When your ink is finally dry, carefully erase your guide lines. Now we are going to start wrapping! Now, prepare your tissue paper. So cute!!! Now we will tie the outer bow.
A Tutorial: Fabulous Ric Rac Flowers & Matilda Jane Clothing Rocks Let me start out with a warning or sorry of some sort. The warning is because I have never done a Tutorial before, so I hope this is helpful and easy to follow. The sorry is for how horrible my nails look. I promise I did them after looking through these pics. WOW! I thought I would start off with a Flower, I too, just learned how to make. Material: Time-Roughly 20 minutes about 28 inches of Ric Rac ( This will make a flower about 2 inches in diameter) Suggestion: The thicker the Ric Rac the better Felt (Any Color) One sheet will be fine depending on how many flowers you want to make. Optional: Hair Clips, leaves or buttons Step One: Take the two pieces and hot glue them together. Note: You want to glue them together as if they are a mirror of one another. Step two: Lock in each curve of the first piece with the second. Say to yourself “over,under,over, under”. *If your piece does not look like this, then you most likely glued the two pieces going the wrong direction. Pretty right? Cute right?

Functional Coat Hooks Made of Unlikely Upcycled Material Even if you have hooks or a hall tree by your front door, winter accessories tend to pile up quickly. All of the coats, hats, scarves, earwarmers and other cold-weather detritus can rapidly take over unless you make better arrangements. Those better arrangements are right here in the form of these clever paint can coat hooks from Instructables user Brian Jewett. The project is simple enough for almost anyone to pull off. It involves mounting a clean paint can (or two or ten, however many you need) to the wall with screws. No fancy tools or special knowledge are needed. The insides of the cans hold all of your smallish accessories like gloves and mittens.
Anthro-Inspired Mirror & Flamingo Toes You all know we love a good Anthropologie knockoff around here – so a couple of days ago when I was browsing online I came across this mirror. Oh I definitely need that. Hold the presses – did that say $498??? Huh. We can do better than that. :) So after scouring the thrift shops, cutting myself on mirror glass, and overcoming an unreasonable fear of Mod Podge, here is my version!
