jadore trop ces photo cooking conversions untitled Photo: You May Have Eaten This Photo of the Day Gizmodo What you’re looking at is not a newly discovered pink Burmese python or the material used to make lawn flamingos. It’s actually something edible (and I use the term “edible” loosely). This is actually mechanically separated meat, the main ingredient in many commercial chicken nuggets (and the companies use the term “chicken” loosely). It’s made by sending animals’ bones through a machine that scrapes off the last bits of flesh and blood and smashes them together to form a paste more nausea-inducing than the kind you ate in kindergarten.

Global Food Disparity: A Photo Diary In an increasingly globalized world, it’s still sometimes shocking to see just how disparate our lives are compared with other human beings around the world. A book of photographs by Peter Menzel called "Hungry Planet: What the World Eats" ("©Peter Menzel www.menzelphoto.com. Ten Speed Press, published in 2005) makes a relevant point with great irony: at a time when hundreds of millions of people don't have enough to eat, hundreds of millions more are eating too much and are overweight or obese. In observing what six billion eat for dinner the authors note, "Today, more people are overweight than underweight." It is these cultural differences, emphasized and reinforced by the author, which exemplifies the lifestyles and dietary habits of people around the world. You can buy the book here. Easy Button Earrings Tutorial Did you know...that you can make new earrings with a button and a paperclip? True story! I've been trying to think of a way for us to make some earrings without having to buy supplies. Buying the beads and all the findings can really add up. :o( Sad. But-oh, what? That still leaves the findings. Clip the top of the paperclip off with wire cutters: Snap off the button shanks: Glue the paperclip to the back of the button. Open the loop at the bottom of your earring hook by bending it outward and hook it onto your paper clip. And...pretty new earrings! Walmart was out of gold sparkly ones (I like gold.) but here are some cute ones I found on Walmart.com(about $1-$2): And some cute ones on Etsy: This Etsy shop has infinity cute buttons, you have to see it. (click photos to see where to buy them!) Of course, you may have some on hand just waiting to use! Hope you enjoy. Have a great Sunday! Have a great Monday!! Love you, Disney
