10 PowerPoint Games
There are several benefits to using PowerPoint games in the classroom. They provide an opportunity to model an activity or a game (especially with large classes), they can be fun to play, they are easy to create or edit and they don’t require an internet connection. Since tekhnologic started over two years ago, I have shared several PowerPoint games that I have created. Now, as 2016 draws to a close, I wanted to put together a bumper pack of PowerPoint games to thank everyone who has been following this blog.

Perfect Tense Game
You can set this page as a homework task for a group of students; doing so will give you a record of who has completed the task. Visit the teacher's section for more information. You can share this page by using the link below. Updated January 2020 - changed 'been' to 'gone' in the first set of content, so that 'go' now matches to 'gone'. The sentence still uses 'been' in the phrase contruction part - 'He has been to America'. This is a mini-game for practicing perfect tense sentences in English.

Grammar warmers in pictures – Drop Everything And Teach
I love using photos and pictures in class and I do it as often as possible – for everything: for revising vocabulary, speaking, writing, even for grammar. In this post you will find 2 presentations on grammar warm-ups. Not only will you revise some grammar points with your students but you will also make them use the particular structures in their creative speaking or writing. Each grammar piece starts with a photo and ‘Name as many… as possible’. Then you move on to further practice, more creative and personalised one. I guess the presentations can be suitable for different age groups and levels, both for standard and online lessons.
