100 Things Personality Test - VisualDNA VisualDNA brings a new layer of information to the world of technology that will help bring it closer to the people who use it – making it more enjoyable and relevant. Technology provides businesses with a surfeit of DATA – what and when. However it provides very little in the way of UNDERSTANDING – who did things, and why they did them. We have a different approach. In the financial sector this approach has led to a five-fold increase in ROI, in media we have seen 35% improvement in click rates. Watch a short video about VisualDNA. I got LOT’S of requests for a tutorial on how I DID THIS! So here it is. FINALLY! I want to warn you. It’s best to triple your yarn because it will burn longer! Soak it GOOD! I like to tie my yarn where I want my glass to “cut” then quickly pour polish remover over the string again. Get a big bowl with ice and water ready. VERY IMPORTANT! Slowly turn your bottle. You can’t let the flame go OUT then dunk it in the ice water. YAY!!! I reallly hope you enjoyed this tutorial because I had ALOT of requests for it! © Copyright jaderbombllc, All rights Reserved.
Beachy Waves Hair Mist Summer is here! Time for summer hair. What says summer more than the sunny beach? The look of effortless waves is the envy of many city dwellers, but it's totally easy to achieve sans-beach! Celebrity hairstylists rely on chemical-laden and totally overpriced beach sprays to give their clients "the look". That doesn't work for me, or for my DIY-ers. So, why not create a totally natural and totally handmade version yourself? Silly question, I know. The DIY version produces the same results, see above. Yes, your spray will be about 99% water. What's best about the spray is that it won't smell like artificial fragrances; it will smell of fresh herbs. Much nicer to your nostrils and the environment. Enough talk; let's begin. Step 1: Get an old spray bottle (I used a small one, maybe like 4 oz., recycled from a Bath and Body spray). Gather a generous handful of fresh herbs from your garden, if you have one. If you don't have a garden, you can use herbal tea bags. Step 3: Get a wooden spoon.
{DIY} Wavy Friendship Bracelet See that orange and black wavy friendship bracelet down in my picture of supplies? I bought it at a festival over a year ago and have been obsessing over how to make it ever since. Thank goodness for Chinese knotting cord and my thread burner because I finally figured out how to make it. And let me tell you, it is SO EASY. You will need: 3 colors of Chinese knotting cord, about 60 inches of each colorAbout 25 inches of rattail or other round cordingA box lidA thread burner or a lighterSome scrap rattail or yard First, fold your scrap rattail and the rattail you are using in half and thread them through each other. Fold the three strands of Chinese knotting cord in half and put the loop under the rattail and pull it through. Take the first blue strand and fold it over the first strand of rattail like the number 4. Keep going with the rest of the strands, but be sure not to pull the first knot too tight because you need to leave enough slack for the loop. Like this: Like Loading...

Tutorial: Skin Brightening Kiwi Mask Some white stuff is falling today. It’s not a blizzard but its enough to make the snow plow guys to come through my streets several times throughout the day. I think they were bored this winter and were probably more excited about the snow than my daughter! But truth be told – We NEED snow in the winter to nourish the earth. Warm winters are never good for the planet or our immune system ( ) so as inconvenient as cold brutal winter weather might seem to our lives, we do need cold winters and the snow. Having said though, cold weather also means dry dull skin. And among many skin moisturizing mask recipes, like my Moisturizing Avocado Face Mask , for some reason, kiwi sounds like it’s just what we need in the winter too – maybe because cold winters remind us how much we crave hot tropical weathers where kiwi fruits come from? I know kiwi is not exactly in season or local but sometimes I crave potent Vitamin C. *The knife looks grimly big in this picture. Sking Brightening Kiwi Mask
making chapstick | tidytipsy.photography When the weather gets cooler my mind turns not only to knitting but also to making body products. I made chapstick already last year, but wasn’t overly happy with the recipe, so I tried a different one this year. I used: 20% beeswax 25% coconut oil 15% cocoa butter 40% olive oil No coloring, no scent, no smell. I actually like the faint smell of beeswax :) I was aiming for three or four tubes worth of chapstick and eyeballed the quantity. The process is very simple: 1. 2. 3. Done!
