Sliding loop : an easy way to begin granny square! The double sliding loop is my favorite way to begin a granny square. I find this method fabulous as I can make the beginning ring the size I want. I worked it with a double ring as I find it more safe and easier to weave in end the tails. Bordure tricotée à même - Vive le tricot ! Bordure tricotée à même Comme promis la semaine dernière, voici les explications pour tricoter une bordure tout en la rattachant à la pièce principale. Le tricot progresse perpendiculairement au bord (voir la dernière photo). 1/ Il est pratique d'avoir les mailles du bord sur une aiguille, donc commencez par les relever si ce n'est pas le cas. 2/ Monter à la suite le nombre de mailles nécessaires pour la bordure (5 dans mon cas, en orange foncé, avec un montage tricoté). 3/ Tricoter le premier rang de la bordure, sauf la dernière maille. 4/ Tricoter ensemble cette dernière maille et la maille suivante sur l'aiguille gauche (qui est une maille de la pièce principale). 5/ Tourner pour le deuxième rang, glisser la première maille comme pour la tricoter à l'envers avec le fil derrière le travail, tricoter le reste du rang selon le motif choisi.
