Anonymous: Bigger, More Contentious, More Chaotic… but Better?
Image by Rock Lou Much has been made about conflicts that have arisen within the hacker community; the main stream media has made sure of that. Stories of rogue programmers sabotaging parts of networks, or supposed splinter groups pursuing alternative agendas have proliferated. Focus has been put on isolated cases, and rumors of questionable provenance, in order to present a negative opinion of Anonymous with the intent of eroding their overwhelming global support and participation. Differences of opinion about how to achieve shared goals are the lifeblood of progress, even as they appear to be barriers. Any relationship without debate is stagnant. Conflict can be the harbinger of discovery when welcomed by, and dealt with as, a community of peers. The influence of any negative elements, or destructive agendas, such as those present in any large community, can find fertile ground in a community that encourages equal participation within a decentralized and non-hierarchical structure.

How to Make a Hula Hoop
How to Make a Collapsible Hoop: Since I've been getting quite a few requests for collapsible hoop-making instructions lately, here are the basics. In addition to what you need to make a regular hoop, to make a collapsible, you need: Four connectors per hoop instead of oneBulk bungee corduncoated coat hanger wirea power sander (or a lot of patience)several pairs of pliers and several hands Fair warning on two points: First, sanding down the connectors produces plastic dust that you do not want in your eyes or lungs. Here's how it works: Measure off a length of tubing to your desired hoop size, and cut. Heat one end of each of the four tubes, and slide the non-sanded ends of the connectors into each, up to the halfway point, leaving the sanded ends sticking out. You should be able to pull the hoop apart with some effort, but when spinning at top speed it should stay together.

Since the early 1990′s the internet has been spawning online legends in almost every form imaginable.  However, I think I have found ‘the big one’.  I found this guys videos purely by chance and was immediately in awe of just how epic he is.  Francis is a hardcore gamer and major rage monster, I’ve never seen anything like his videos on the web and I have seen some pretty unsettling things online.  But don’t take my word for it, check out the first video I found of the legend that is Francis. Now be honest, your actually in love with this guy right? Were you excited for Skyrim? I’ll just give you a couple more of my Francis favorites, before I try to find out exactly where he lives so I can camp out on his front lawn armed with a video camera and plenty of mountain dew. If you think Francis is as EPIC as I do, comment below!

French designer Paul Coudamy has created this red-gloss sliding wall unit combining a desk, bed and wardrobe for an apartment in Paris. As part of the renovation of the 23 square-metre apartment the designer has also introduced a bathroom that sits behind a two-way mirror and has a WC concealed behind wardrobe doors.
