With that being said, we’ll show you how to master a version of the ever so popular wrap bracelet. It’s so simple and addicting, you’ll soon be churning out these wristlets with your eyes closed. Clearly this arm party train isn’t stopping and it’s about time you get on board! You’ll need (for a double wrapped bracelet) :* Lengths will vary depending on the size of your wrist (see comments for suggestions). Fold the length of leather cording in half to form a loop. Place the ball chain along the leather cording with the end of the chain meeting the end of the wrap. Continue wrapping while checking it for fit around the wrist. When you have reached the end of the ball chain wrap the linen cording around the leather strands 2-3 more times. Thread the hex nut through the strands and tie a second knot. Pita Bread Recipe | Blogger For Hire This pita bread recipe makes amazingly soft and fluffy pitas. If you’re in the U.S. and are used to the cardboard rounds sold at supermarkets here as “pita bread,” you’ll be amazed once you try the real thing. The yeasty, delicious aroma, the chewy texture and the delicate taste will get you hooked immediately. There’s one caveat though: once you try these, you won’t be able to go back to eating supermarket cardboard pita. The dough in this pita bread recipe is mixed by a bread machine. If you don’t have a bread machine, you can prepare the dough by hand. Makes 12 small pita bread rounds, or 4 servings Ingredients 1-1/4 cups warm milk (I use 2%) 2 tablespoons olive oil 3 cups bread flour (all-purpose should work) Up to 1/4 cup more for flouring the work surface 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon rapid rise yeast or bread machine yeast Directions 1. This is what the dough looks like when you remove it from the machine. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Repeat with remaining dough. It’s true.
Day 63 - DIY Corona Glasses I cannot even tell you how excited I was when I found this pin explaining how simple it is to cut glass bottles. For our first anniversary, my husband signed us up for a glassblowing class. It was awesome and we had a great time. As we were leaving, one of the artists was turning Corona bottles into drinking glasses for a friend’s wedding gift. I was wondering why these glasses weren’t one of the projects we could choose from that day. I left there thinking that Corona glasses could only be made by the glassblowers and their fancy equipment. You can cut glass bottles at home using materials you probably already have on hand. glass bottles yarn nail polish remover lighter sink full of ice water sandpaper 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. The hardest part about this project is getting the cut in the right spot. You can make more than just drinking glasses. Source: Crafty Scrappy Happy Related posts:

Creative Guest: Watermark Tee by Sweet Verbana Hello U-Create readers! I am so excited to be guest posting here today. It just so happens to be my first guest post and I'm still a little shocked that it's here at Ucreate, one of my favorite blogs! A little bit about me.. I'm from a little town called Keller, Texas. I'm a junior at Texas A&M University (whoop!). I'm working on my education degree and expect to be an elementary school teacher in just two short years. When I'm not busy studying for classes, I love to sew. I just started blogging in May and have already met all kinds of wonderful women, I hope you'll stop by and say hi too! Watermark Tee Tutorial What I love about this project is that it's completely customizable. Materials: Elmer's Blue Gel Glue (it must be the blue gel, white won't work) Fabric Dye (RIT is my tried and true brand) A white cotton Tee, Tank, Dress etc. Tutorial: If you're unfamiliar with Batiking, it's a method of dyeing fabric in which you create a design with a dye- resist. Giant Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Giant Reese's Peanut Butter Cup by Joshua C Juvrud for £20.00 16th May 2011 Pages: 1 2 Place the parchment paper in the foil casing, and pour your first layer of chocolate, about half inch deep. It may look like the paper wont hold its shape – but put it in the freezer for about half an hour, and you’ll be surprised. Next, blend up the graham crackers to a powder-like finish, and mix it up with the peanut butter. Unfortunately, we weren’t ready. The end result was better than I could have ever expected. We peeled off the paper, and sat in awe at our masterpiece. Rated 92.73 /100 - 142 votes (4.65/5) Rate this pimp! Pages: 1 2
How to setup a remote desktop and connect to your PC from anywhere Remote desktop, which lets you access another computer over the internet just as if you were at the keyboard, is incredibly handy when you need to make changes to your home Minecraft server, get Steam to start downloading a game, or just keep an eye on a progress bar. As an added bonus, it’s also the tool of choice for providing occasional family or friend tech support. There are a few ways to setup a remote desktop, but if you’re running Windows you’ve already got one built right in: Remote Desktop Connection. To get started with this useful, yet under-used Windows feature, you’ll just need to be comfortable changing Windows and router settings and have a few minutes to configure and test it. Pave the way As you might expect, allowing a remote user full control over a computer isn’t something that’s enabled by default. On the machine you want to access, click the Start button, then right-click Computer and choose “Properties”. Test it out Other approaches

DIY Doily Light: Simple Suspended-Sphere Lace Lamp Shade So simple a child could make it – and have fun in the process, too. And the result? A shining example of how light and shadow can work together to brighten up a room. Swedish craftswoman Isabelle Dos started with a simple party-shop balloon, blown up big and wrapped in white lace place settings painted with wallpaper glue. The soaked material sticks readily to the sides of the inflated sphere, overlapping to form a contiguous shell, suspended and left to dry overnight like a plaster cast. Pop the balloon and presto: a little cut in the top lets you drop in a bare bulb and create your own chandelier, potentially using whatever pattern you want (if lace feels a little too old-fashioned) to frame the outside and filter the light. Heidi Powell's Five-Minute Workout for Busy Moms: Easy Cardio Heidi Powell has given us many five-minute workouts. We’ve built muscle in our arms, blasted our booties, engaged our middles, and more—and we’ve been very pleased with the results. What’s left? Cardio, of course! This is the best cardio workout we’ve seen yet, and the fact that it’s also a five-minute workout? Absolutely perfect. Heidi Says…The five-minute workouts you have been completing (and mastering!)
