YouQueen.com - Life Tips for Smart Women Makeup Bag: Beauty Blog with Makeup Reviews, Beauty Tips, How-tos and Expert Beauty Advice Specktra A Beautiful Mess I love using cloth napkins to dress up our dinner table, and through the years I've grown even more fond of their sustainability and cost effectiveness. Though, I'm not sure how cost effective it is if you keep buying more and more cloth napkins each year! This holiday season I thought it would be fun to look at how I could dress up the napkins I already own to give them an extra festive vibe. Check out three simple ways you can give new life to your table linens. And hey! Ribbon Trimmed Napkin This look is so (no sew) simple! Supplies:-ribbon-heat bond in width of ribbon-cloth napkin (buy mine here)-iron-fabric scissors (not shown above) Step One: Trim pieces of your ribbon to be about 1.5 inches longer than the width of your napkins. Step Two: Fold down the edges of each ribbon segment about 1/4" and iron flat. Step Three: Iron the heat bond to the ribbon (pressing with hot iron for two seconds), then peel off the paper backing. Pom-Pom Trimmed Napkin That's all there is to it!

Neatorama Beauty Addict: A Little Obsessed with Makeup - Beauty Blog 5 Foods You Have In Your Kitchen That Should Be In Your Hair Baking soda should be in your hair if it has build-up. Let’s make a pact today. You and me. From now on, when we have a beauty issue, we’ll look in the cabinets – first – before we run out and buy an expensive (or even bargain) product to fix us. And, I know, I know … there’s just something a little bit comforting about picking up a bottle of FancySchmancy-Make-You-Fabulous Potion; there’s some weird satisfaction in forking over your hard-earned money to feel hot. But there’s a new and better feeling from fixing it yourself — by rummaging through your kitchen. And don’t get me wrong, sometimes it’s easier or less time consuming to snag a product from the shelf. Now, I’m here to get you started with your tresses. When I say “5 Foods You Have In Your Kitchen,” I mean “5 Foods That Are Still Left In My Kitchen,” because my produce drawer is really bare right now. At this point, I figure if I have these 5 things in my kitchen, you SURELY have them in yours. And we’re going to fix your hair. soda

a shress a day Arrow & Apple - Arrow & Apple - Editorial and Wedding Photography Hey guys! We have a pretty incredible announcement to make today. From this point on, I am no longer booking any more weddings, or I guess anything, for that matter! I've accepted a full-time position with two of my favorite ladies (and both former brides of mine!), Elsie + Emma, to do photography and videography full-time on their blog, A Beautiful Mess, as well as for future books of theirs and even projects beyond that! If you haven't visited their blog, it's unreal how much content they are constantly coming up with - new projects, recipes, ideas, and even photography hacks. Photograph via A Beautiful MessThey're even releasing their first book soon. Josh and I are so excited to join their team, but this job does require a move to Springfield, Missouri. So what does this mean for.... Current Clients? To our clients who are waiting on photos, promise, they're on the way. :) Future Clients? Sorry ya'll. E-Course Students? This blog?
