Delectable Edibles: April Fool's Cupcakes-- Mock Spaghetti and Meatballs This is the other fake-out cupcake we decided to make for April Fool's Day. I've already shared the mock TV dinner cupcakes. I thought this spaghetti and meatballs platter turned out pretty fun, as well. It was far simpler to put together than it looks and I have to admit, the meatballs looked so realistic, it was almost gross! The added bonus of this recipe was that the cupcakes tasted so good with the extra strawberry jam. They looked and tasted great! Serves10 Supplies needed: 10 vanilla cupcakes, baked in white liners 1 can vanilla frosting 1/2 tsp. cocoa powder 3 drops yellow food coloring 11 Ferrero Rocher chocolates, unwrapped 3/4 cup strawberry preserves (preferably the low sugar kind... it has a better, brighter red color) 2 Tbsp. grated white chocolate, plus a chunk of white chocolate for garnishing, if desired 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.
Sugar Crusted Chocolate Chip Muffins: - StumbleUpon After the holidays I have the hardest time falling back into the rhythm of my normal life. As I sit here looking around and the gift boxes, empty toy boxes and those dang twist-tie things ; and don’t even get me started on the holiday decorations that eventually need to be packed away, I’m feeling extremely disorganized and overwhelmed with it all. I have to work the next couple of days and New Year’s weekend at the hospital and I’m wondering when I’ll get to it all. I can tell ya with certainty that I’d rather curl up with these muffins, a cup of coffee and watch endless hours of The Cooking Channel than tackle the after math of Christmas. It all begins with a few basic pantry ingredients. Combine all of the dry ingredients into a large bowl, and add the mini chips. Stir to combine. Crack-alack one egg and measure in the vanilla extract. Drizzle in the grapeseed oil. Add in the milk. Add the wet ingredients into the dry. Mix until incorporated. Line your muffin tin. Mix until combined.
Deep Dish Cinnamon Streusel Dessert Pizza Oh, haiyyy. Just gimme a minute to lick the final cinnamon streusel crumbs off my sticky fingers and attempt to be coherent enough to write something. Or get another slice. Cause coherent thoughts might not be happening. This pizza, and by pizza I mean subtly sweet thick crust topped with a heavy sprinkling of cinnamon streusel crumbs and drizzled with a warm maple glaze, is so distractingly good. I kind of cringed when I wrote that because I’m visualizing of all you fancypants readers sitting there drinking your tea with your pinkies out who will now judge me. Or more like GET JEALOUS. What I found out relearned at the Pizza Ranch is that dessert pizza is basically the world’s most lovable food. Thaaaa Textuuuure. “But when would I even eat this?” Okay. Eat it for breakfast. I think normal people have it for dessert or something. Deep Dish Cinnamon Streusel Dessert Pizza Author: Pinch of Yum Serves: 8 Ingredients Pizza Glaze Instructions Crust: Preheat the oven to 425. Clementine Cake Recipe : Nigella Lawson Directions Put the clementines in a pot with cold water to cover, bring to the boil, and cook for 2 hours. Drain and, when cool, cut each clementine in half and remove the seeds. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Butter and line an 8-inch springform pan with parchment paper. Beat the eggs. Pour the cake mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour, when a skewer will come out clean; you'll probably have to cover the cake with foil after about 40 minutes to stop the top from burning. I've also made this with an equal weight of oranges and lemons, in which case I increase the sugar to 1 1/4 cups and slightly Anglicize it, too, by adding a glaze made of confectioners' sugar mixed to a paste with lemon juice and a little water.
