Retro Arcade Game Sound Effects Pack | Huge Library, Free Download | The Motion Monkey Audio Sample Download Free Retro Arcade Sounds Library Having recorded our own sound effects for our video game projects for some time now, we decided to create a comprehensive, game specific royalty-free sound effects library inspired by the classic 16-bit arcade games of the late 80's/early 90's. The full free game sound effects library has been produced by us, and is now under CC0. The full package includes an extensive collection of over 300 original royalty-free sounds inspired by classic arcade games, so ideally suited to compliment pixel art visuals and retro styled music tracks. If you do use any of the sounds in your next project, please let us know, we'd love to see your finished work. It's also worth mentioning that although everything is grouped into broad categories, many of the video game sound effects are multipurpose, so just treat the categories/names as a guide. Adam’s Razor | Adam Lofting A Responsive WordPress theme for simple living You can see the theme in action on this website. The philosophy behind it is something like this: “Entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity” – this is my application of Occam’s Razor to WordPress theme design. Enjoy. Download this theme from the WordPress Themes Directory Changelog Feedback Please report any issues here: Get Involved The sourcecode is now available on Github: Dev_Tones | UI sounds for your app. Get Audacity (the free sound app) Audacity is an excellent sound editing application for Mac, PC, and Linux that should be installed on every computer ever. You can use our tones as building blocks for new sounds by opening them in Audacity and adding effects or combining sounds. Add effects Highlight part or all of the sound in audacity and select Effect > Change Pitch. Combine sounds While you have one sound open in Audacity, you can drag another one right in under it to combine sounds. Ignore our naming conventions We've tried our best to name the tones as appropriately as possible, but don't let them influence your use of them. Don't over do it Good UI/UX design should inform, not annoy.
