Their work and style is influenced by the photographer Guy Bourdin and have pioneered the use of digital manipulation within their field. Mert and Marcus, born in 1971 in Turkey and Wales respectively, met for the first time in England in 1994 after having worked for a brief period in different areas, the first in classical music and the second in graphic design. Marcus was an assistant photographer and Mert was a fashion photo modeler. After working together in the photography business, they decided to create a team.
Dimitri Daniloff Né en 1970, Dimitri Daniloff est représenté en France, Angleterre, Etats-Unis et Asie. Lauréat de nombreux prix photographiques et publicitaires, il remporte notamment le grand prix de Cannes en 2003. Il participe à la rétrospective de la photographie publicitaire au musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. Il y est alors reconnu comme étant le meilleur représentant de la nouvelle photographie impliquant l’usage de nouvelles technologies. La série Porcelain Dolls est publiée dans le prestigieux magazine de photographie contemporaine Eyemazing, lauréat des Lucie Awards la même année.
