As it was way over my budget, I had to improvise: enter the Ikea LACK shelves. 1. 2. 3. 4. from 4mm MDF boards I made new fronts for the lack shelf units to make the 4 compartments somewhat look like old-school tv screens. 5. simple ideas for cat litter boxes Pet Furniture Published on August 6th, 2007 | by Jules IKEAHacker sara’s wheelaway cat litter boxsara sent me her cat litter box constructed from 2 snack boxes. she flipped a smaller snack box on top a larger one. cut a hole for her large kitty to go through and attached the two boxes with hinges. should you want to paint it, do remember to paint it before you construct the boxes – it will save you time painting round the metal plates. sara also added wheels. last thing is to place a litter pan in it and you’re set. the finished cat litter box cut an entrance for your cat with a jigsaw attach the two boxes with hinges view sara’s cat litter photoset and instructions on flickr. robert’s version (updated Jan 30, 2008) this is a cool version of sara’s idea. same 2 snack boxes but with a square cut-out, which is probably easier to achieve. the stenciled paw prints are just too cute, don’t you think? dee’s bonus: you can even use the piece you cut out from the hol for a kitchen trivet! Spa Sensations 6'' Memory Foam Mattress: Furniture I originally bought the 8" Cal King as a cheap fix for our bed, we liked it so much we replaced the 2 mattresses on my sons trundle bed with the 8" mattresses as well. Company loves them and cant believe they are from Walmart! MY Daughter just transitioned into a big bed and we got her the 6" mattress and the white metal canopy bed from walmart.com as well. The 6" is firmer than the 8", it has less of a sink in squishiness to it. The 8" will puff up over time to 8" but expect 6.5-7" at first.
