L'AIMCC (Association des Industries de Matériaux, Produits, Composants et Equipements pour la Construction) est une organisation qui regroupe pas moins de 100 fédérations et 7000 industriels. Fondée en 1971, l’AIMCC est ouverte aux organisations professionnelles françaises regroupant des industriels dont l’activité est consacrée, au moins en partie, à la production industrielle de matériaux, de produits, de composants et d’équipements pour la construction. L’AIMCC a pour objet de promouvoir les intérêts généraux communs de ses adhérents et leur rôle important en tant qu’acteurs de la construction. Dans ce cadre, elle assure leur représentation auprès des divers partenaires nationaux et internationaux.Elle constitue pour les industriels une structure de réflexion et d’action concernant les sujets communs ayant des incidences majeures sur l’avenir et la compétitivité des industriels tant au plan national qu’au plan international.
