'Baked' Oatmeal in a Mug I recently posted about Chocolate Cake in a Mug, where I showed you how to bake a single-serving chocolate cake in only a few minutes. That got me to thinking, would this work for baked oatmeal too? I adore baked oatmeal, but most mornings I don’t have the time to bake it. So I tried applying the principles of chocolate cake in a mug to baked oatmeal, and it actually worked pretty well! I still think oven baked oatmeal is the best, but when you’re in a hurry, this microwave version hits the spot. Apple Banana “Baked” Oatmeal in a Mug 1/2 cup quick cooking oats 1 tbsp ground flax seed 1 egg 1/2 cup milk 1/3 of a banana, mashed 1/4 tsp cinnamon 1/2 of an apple, chopped 2 tsp honey Add oats, flax, egg and milk in a mug.

60 Second Chocolate Chip Muffin Let’s talk about Energy… Have you seen mine? Pretty sure it ran off to an exclusive resort in Tahiti somewhere, and is gettin’ rubbed with suntan oil by the one and only Christian Bale… Holy Batman! I’m sure it probably hates me and never wants to come back after that Minnie Mouse party…Especially after little miss received a bicycle and has decided it’s much more fun to ride when mom pushes instead of peddling. Dear Energy, i’m so sorry but I need you back. Mind you I still have a toddler, messy house, new baby to prepare for, and I’m as big as a walrus?! And this walrus is hungry! No more PB&J’s, smoothies, and cereal. Let’s not forget it’s been too long since I wore makeup…And I’m pretty sure I wear the same sweat pants every other (each?) Listen my little Energy, I promise I’ll give you something to come back for. And it won’t require much work from you at all. At least tell me you will think about it? 60 Second Chocolate Chip Muffin Ingredients: 1 tsp. melted and cooled coconut oil 1. 2.
à soupe d’huile d’olive 2 c. à soupe d’arrow-root 20 cl de lait de coco 4 g d’agar-agar (soit une cuillère à café bombée) Pour une terrine (L13xl9xH5). Rincer les lentilles corail à l’eau froide.
Banana Oatmeal “Cookies” | Bionic Bites I’d very loosely call these treats cookies. Why? The recipe is basically two ingredients, oats and bananas, plus a few add-ins. I found this recipe on The Burlap Bag when looking for a non-banana bread recipe to use up all my overripe bananas. If gluten is an issue for you, these “cookies” are also gluten-free. I hope you try them. Banana Oatmeal “Cookies” Adapted from The Burlap Bag Yields: 16 small cookies Ingredients 2 large overripe bananas 1 cup quick oats 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 3/4 teaspoon sugar pinch of salt 1/4 teaspoon butter 1/4 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 cup raisins butter or oil to grease two cookie sheets Preparation 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. D'Âme Bio, Recettes de Cuisine biologique, sans gluten, sans lait et sans beurre Whole Wheat Carrot Cake Pancakes with Cream Cheese Syrup ~~~~ This post was originally posted in the spring of 2012, this week this recipe was an assignment for Sundays With Joy so I am re-sharing it!~~~~ Easter is almost here! Do you celebrate? Are your little ones excited for the Easter Bunny? I have one child who is pumped! His words the other night "Mama.... the Easter Bunny just FREAKS me right out!" He's had nightmares about the Easter Bunny recently as well. I suspect in his mind he pictures this.... (and just for the record NO he has not see that movie I'm just joking...) My plan is to rent Hop this week and hopes that he will like it, lose his fear, and be excited for Easter when he goes to bed on Saturday night. If this keeps up, Saturday night will be a long one... Yesterday morning the kids and I had a little fun in the kitchen. I say to the boys "How about Carrot Pancakes?!?!" So after some convincing they helped me whip up a quick batch as a sample. And to their surprised LOVED them. Directions: Mix together wet and dry ingredients.
