Touch/DualBootInstallation Ubuntu Dual Boot Installer is provided as a tech preview for developers who want to run Ubuntu and Android on a single device. It is not intended to be used by regular users, neither at this point nor as its ultimate goal. Those developers installing it should be familiar with the Ubuntu and Android partition layouts and should also feel at home with manually flashing partitions in case something goes wrong. Ubuntu Dual Boot Installer was born as an internal skunkworks project some Canonical Engineers dedicated a limited amount of their time to. Seeing the good progress, it was decided to release this preview for the developer community to test, study and contribute to. Dual boot is not part of the regular Ubuntu release. Aquaris E4.5 : le premier mobile avec Ubuntu arrive en Europe Présenté comme le tout premier smartphone au monde équipé du système d’exploitation Ubuntu, l'Aquaris E4.5 sera lancé en Europe au cours des prochaines semaines, annonce le fabricant espagnol BQ. Conçu en partenariat avec Canonical, qui s'occupe d'ordinaire de la promotion de la distribution Linux, ce mobile se veut une alternative aux terminaux fonctionnant avec Android, iOS et Windows Phone. Sur le plan technique, l'Aquaris E4.5 propose un écran de 4,5 pouces (définition de 540 par 960 pixels), un processeur quadricœur MediaTek Cortex A7 cadencé à 1,3 GHz, 1 Go de mémoire vive et 8 Go d'espace de stockage. Il embarque un objectif photo de 5 mégapixels sur la façade avant et un autre de 8 mégapixels sur la façade arrière (avec autofocus, double flash et capacité Full HD). Au regard de ses caractéristiques techniques, l'Aquaris E4.5 n'a clairement pas vocation à venir chatouiller le secteur du haut de gamme, où les prix des terminaux dépassent très largement la barre des 500 euros.
