Chalkboard Mason Jar Magnetic Jars Longest title ever for a craft? I just couldn't decide what to call it, so it;s a little long-winded.... But, here's a tutorial on how to make Chalkboard Mason Jar Magnetic Jars: I was sent some products to try out from Plaid, along with a gift card to Walmart for any other supplies I may need. Jello Shots! This Post is ALL Mandi. I think she has had a few of these this morning so disregard her grammar and over excitement. See ya next week! - Dan Pear Pie Pop Tarts “Positive, positive, positive!!” That’s my favorite line from Knocked Up. Leslie Mann says it to Katherine-whatever-her-name-is when she’s all bummed out and can’t bring herself to get out of bed. Quesadillas Recipe This is what I've been making for lunch lately. My five-minute lunch. Literally. I thought it would make sense to share it, in part, because it's ridiculous how often I make it. Or some slight riff on it. It's a quesadilla - sort of.

Easy Single Serving Dessert Recipes Single-Serving Peanut Turtle Blondies David Bowers This rich and buttery blondie, topped with so many good things, can be ready in less than three minutes. It’s almost dangerously easy to mix up. Salty peanuts are perfect with the melted chocolate and drizzle of caramel, but if you prefer a classic “turtle” with pecans, by all means swap them in. Don’t overcook or your blondie will get tough, and do eat it warm.
Skinny Mashed Potatoes Mashed potatoes are one of my favorite things to eat on Thanksgiving, but this year since I am pregnant and on a really strict low carb diet (for my diabetes) real mashed potatoes are out (bummer). I recently started researching alternatives to some of my favorite dishes because there is NO way my plate will be without a big ole pile of mash potatoes. I came across this recipe that uses cauliflower instead of potatoes. Gooey Chocolate Coconut Cupcake! This cupcake should be called DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN! What a combination....Coconut and Chocolate!! I found this great store bought Coconut spread with Coconut Flakes by Deluxe in a German supermarket called Lidl, here, in Greece! (For all my Greek and foreign friends- a MUST get) Delicious!! The whole thing was soooo gooey- it almost melted in your mouth! pieces of heaven Intro Today I found myself pursuing the cold. I didn’t bundle up on our walk to the park after dinner. I did not turn up the heat when I got home. I removed my layers down to a t-shirt and procrastinated putting on my slippers just so that my chill could be cured from the warmth of a cup of hot cocoa topped with homemade marshmallows. I remained in a continuous slightly chilled state until I tucked my sweet boys in bed, so that my enjoyment of my warm treat would be uninterrupted.
The Simple Delights Even though I have had some rough egg experiences lately…the century egg, and little birdie fetus…I have not given up on one of my favorite foods. While eggs can be made to taste more disgusting than I ever thought possible, they can also be creamy, protein packed perfection and in the case of the baked egg cup, they are just that! The other morning, we had our friend Zach and one of his friends over for breakfast. Zach was our travel partner in Cambodia, and he is moving to South Africa on Monday, so we are trying to soak up as much Zach time as possible! Gavin made some delicious whole wheat banana’s foster pancakes (I think I should enlist him has a guest blogger to share his pancake secrets!)
DIY home decor Ever since I moved to New York, one of my favorite things to do is create things for our apartment. I love adding dramatic things that change the whole vibe of the room-- and nothing is more dramatic than a chandelier. A couple months back we moved from a teeny tiny apartment around the corner to the one we're in now. DIY Macrame Bracelet Growing up by the beach in Southern California, the ability to knot a macrame bracelet was practically a right of passage. Although those days are long behind us, we’ve never forgotten the ever-so-simple square knot technique. This time, however, we’re replacing hemp and wooden beads for more updated elements like colorful nylon cord and glossy metal charms. Happy knotting!
