Academic Schools The University of Alaska Southeast is committed to providing opportunities for students to reach their academic, personal and career goals. UAS consists of four Schools: Arts and Sciences, Education, Management and Career Education. Students in the School of Arts and Sciences receive a personalized education amidst spectacular natural beauty in the humanities, social sciences or natural sciences. The School of Education is known for its undergraduate and graduate programs; students can earn a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in one-year. Cost of Attendance
2013-2014 Alaska Resident Undergraduate Estimated Cost of Attendance (COA) The budget for undergraduate tuition will be based on an average cost of $186/credit. The Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program is designed to help undergraduates who live in western states pursue higher education at a public college or university outside their home state, but within the western region at an affordable cost. WUE states include: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and the U.S. Note: Not all UAS degree programs are eligible for WUE tuition.

Freshmen Admission requirements
Admission to Michigan State University is competitive, but there are no minimum requirements. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. MSU strongly encourages a college preparatory curriculum in high school. Students also are advised to apply early in their senior year.
