Different Flower Cuts

DIY Paper Gardenia It seems that every time I create a new paper flower template it becomes my new favorite. Well my dears, it has happened again. This paper gardenia is simply gorgeous and just in time for Mother’s Day. For this flower I printed a simple line template onto one of my favorite paper types, a metallic, iridescent, frosty paper, that gives such a beautiful dimension when curled and sculpted. Tropical Paper Flowers These bright and beautiful paper flowers are made from scrapbook paper and cardstock and were inspired by the gorgeous tropical flowers in warm weather climates. So if you want to have a bit of the tropics in your home year round, make these tropical paper flowers! A bonus… they never need watering. :) When I decided to make these flowers, I drew my initial inspiration from these beautiful felt flowers from Crafty Staci. I decided to use paper because there are so many pretty patterns available in scrapbook paper that you just can’t get in felt. I live in Wisconsin, so aside from lilies in the summer, we don’t get to see a lot of tropical foliage. So whether you just enjoy paper crafting or you’re like me and can’t have the real thing, then here’s how you make these tropical paper flowers. Note: some links below are affiliate links. As always, a full printable supply list and instructions are at the end of this post. For this project you will need the following supplies: Hot glue gun
