Pricing for Business Video Sharing What's the deal with bandwidth? Bandwidth can sometimes be confusing when it comes to video hosting. It’s difficult to anticipate how much you’ll need, and how much it might end up costing you. We've set our bandwidth limits so high, that most Wistia users will never need to worry about it. In fact, 99% of our customers don’t even come close. If you do end up needing more than our standard limit, we’ll send you a friendly email giving you the heads up that you’re close, and may be charged for extra bandwidth. If you already know you’re different than 99% of Wistia users, and think you're in the top 1% of bandwidth usage, get in touch with our team and we'll be happy to put together a custom plan just for you.
Update: More cards for the classroom | Classroom Heroes! I’ve spent the last term working with variations on the mission structure of lessons as a method of differentiation and tracking of achievement, and the class I’v eben mainly experimenting with have been taking to it quite well! As a result, I’ve added two new card sets to the site, with bonus cards specifically for good behaviour, and another set for bringing equipment to class. Each set of cards has the same basic design, but with slightly different images and text, and with a different dominant colour scheme. This means that at he end of a lesson, students can hand in their cards and I can easily keep track of their progress during the lesson. The colours make it easy to identify if they earned points for completing more difficult class tasks, bringing their equipment, or behaving well. What has really surprised me is how much they like collecting the cards during the lesson. You can find the current cards sets at Like this: Like Loading...
Learning From Experience Raising Girls - Ten to Fourteen Year Olds | Older Kids Development Helping girls become women takes guidance not space ... Photo: Getty Images We hear it everywhere - girls are growing up too fast. When I mention this to audiences of parents, their heads nod like they are going to fall off. Taxidrivers know it. Teachers know it. "Fourteen is the new eighteen" sums it up. Luckily there are powerful things we can do to take back our influence on our children’s well being. When I was researching my book Raising Girls (which took about twenty years if I include raising my own!) Advertisement If girls rush into worrying about weight, looks, boys and fashion at the age of ten, you know you have missed something important. The problem is - they won’t get this from other girls, at least not in a wise calm way. And, since our daughters also have a healthy dose of not wanting to be like us, and just by the dice throw of genetics may be very different to us, they also need to meet eccentric, interesting, different and original kinds of women.
