La actualización del buscador se hará efectiva a partir de la semana que viene. Se trata de un cambio en los criterios a la hora de configurar la lista de resultados que se generan con cada búsqueda para dar prioridad a los portales que ofrecen productos legítimos frente a los que promocionan contenidos pirateados, que quedarán relegados a posiciones menos destacadas. Para diferenciar entre las web en función de su respeto por los derechos de autor, Google tendrá en cuenta el número de denuncias que recibe sobre violaciones de copyright asociadas con portales de internet.
