The How I Met Your Mother Blog John Lithgow on Playing Barney's Dad on 'How I Met Your Mother' -- Plus an Exclusive Clip “Avatar” et le cinéma en relief Télécharger Avatar de James Cameron ?

Get Yourself Star Trek Computer Sounds Star Trek fans are usually technology fanatics. This stems from the fact that if you grew up when any “generation” of Star Trek episode was on, then you quickly became obsessed with the cool gadgets that the Star Trek crew carried and used throughout the ship (or on planets). Now that the world has progressed with tremendous technological advancements, many of those technologies are now a reality. Just last week, I had my temperature scanned with a probe that the nurse simply ran across my forehead. I had to double check to make sure I hadn’t just entered the Enterprise sick bay. And then, I grinned… Star Trek is here. Unfortunately, when it comes to our cell phones and computers, the cool sounds that came along with those old Trek gadgets simply never became a reality. How I Met Your Mother Exclusive: John Lithgow Is [Major Spoiler Alert]! Review by Wired Even if it had a crappy story, shallow characters and lame dialogue, James Cameron’s 3-D spectacle Avatar would earn a big “wow!” solely on the strength of its awe-inducing visuals. As it turns out, Avatar, which opens Friday, is a damn good movie, period. The adventure takes place entirely on the distant orb known as Pandora, an exotic alien world sitting squarely in the cross-hairs of earthlings’ military-industrial complex. Every few minutes, Cameron unveils another vista, another beast, some new flower or dinosaur-bird or airborne jellyfish designed to stun the senses and celebrate nature’s sheer fecundity. (Spoiler alert: Minor plot points follow.) Throw in a few knife-wielding robots, fierce fight scenes and vertigo-inducing aerial chases amid Pandora’s floating forest islands — that’s right, islands of forests — and you’ve got a PG-13 movie that satisfies even the most jaundiced moviegoer’s appetite for sci-fi eye candy. Instead, Sully comes under the sway of beautiful Neytiri.
