G-code This page tries to describe the flavour of G-codes that the RepRap firmwares use and how they work. The main target is additive fabrication using FFF/FDM processes. Codes for print head movements follow the NIST RS274NGC G-code standard, so RepRap firmwares are quite usable for CNC milling and similar applications, too. There are a few different ways to prepare GCode for a printer. One is to use a slicer like Skeinforge or Cura. As many different firmwares exist and their developers tend to implement new features without discussing strategies or looking what others did before them, a lot of different sub-flavours for the 3D-Printer specific codes developed over the years. Introduction A typical piece of GCode as sent to a RepRap machine might look like this: The meaning of all those symbols and numbers (and more) is explained below. To find out which specific gcode/s are implemented in any given firmware, there are little tables attached to the command descriptions, like this one: yes no

What is Mechatronics? NC State University-UNC Asheville The name Mechatronics stems from mechanical and electronics and is a relatively new approach to product design and development, merging the principles of electrical, mechanical, computer and industrial engineering. It addresses the four interconnected disciplines used for all complex modern devices. Mechatronic systems are typically composed of traditional mechanical and electrical components but are referred to as "smart" devices or systems because of the incorporation of sensors, actuators and computer control systems. Over the years, the term "mechatronics" has come to mean the integrated methodology for designing products that exhibit fast, precise performance. Mechatronics is an emerging field of engineering that integrates electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, control engineering and information technology. Why Study Mechatronics? Where do Mechatronic Engineers work? Examples include: Important mechatronics links

Humanoides.fr | Robots, Drones et Intelligence Artificielle s - What is Mechatronics? What is mechatronics engineering? - Mechatronics definition. Mechatronics is a synergistic combination of precision engineering, electronic control and mechanic systems. It is the science, that exists at the interface among the other five disciplines: mechanics electronics informatics automation robotics It is one of the most dynamically developing fields of technology and science. mechatronics = mechanics + electronics + computing Mechatronics - the genesis The term mechatronics was introduced to the technical terminology by the Japanese company Yaskawa Elektric Corporation (a company founded in 1915) and since 1971 it has been protected as a trade name. mechatronics includes programmable electronic devices and electromechanical systems for embedded, distributed structure of the sensors, processing signals, actuators and communications. Isermann [1] defines mechatronics as a combination of knowledge from three disciplines - mechanics, electronics and computer science.

Razor Robotics - Robot Guides for Beginners, Educational Resources, Careers Advice and much more! What is Mechatronics? | Engineers Australia Explanation of Mechatronics Not long ago, a civil engineering friend came to me with a problem. His company had bought a partly-completed water works to provide a steady cash flow after the pre-2000 Olympics construction boom. All the civil works had been completed and mechanical pumping equipment was being installed. However, the water works required a control and monitoring system to be able to guarantee 24 hour, 7 day maintenance of water quality. Mechatronic engineering is based on elements of mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering and computer science, but is a distinct discipline in its own right. Mechatronic engineering accounts for around 10% of Australian engineering graduates. Many mechatronic engineers work with the electronic and computer control systems which nearly all machinery relies on for efficient and reliable operation. Mechatronic engineers also learn to develop strong team skills. Definition of Mechatronics Examples of Mechatronic Engineering

Robot Voice Generator Circuit Schematic Circuit Diagram Those of you who imagine that a robot voice generator box would require a whole heap of ICs are mistaken; the ISD2500 ChipCorder family of ICs from Winbond contains almost all the necessary hardware in a single IC to record and playback audio messages. Included on the IC is a microphone preamp and AGC suitable for a low-cost electret type microphone, an output amplifier to drive a loudspeaker, memory, an oscillator, an A/D and a D/A converter. There are four basic models; 2560, 2575, 2590 and 25120, the numbers following 25 indicate the available recording time in seconds. The memory capacity of each version is actually the same but longer recording times are achieved by using a lower sampling rate. The chip with the shortest recording time therefore offers the best audio quality. Recordings are made by following this sequence: First switch S3 to record mode (a low on pin 27). Playbacks are made by following this sequence: Robot Voice Generator Circuit Schematic

Electronic circuits based on AVR microcontrollers Tutoriel Robotique Ardui quoi ?
