Temporal Anomalies in Happy Accidents Temporal Anomalies in Time Travel Movies unravels Happy Accidents It is another romance across time, with a few quirks and twists and some talk of laws of time. As a time travel story it's fairly simple, perhaps, but it has its problems. Background to the Story At the heart of the story is a young man named Sam who travels from the future to find and meet a girl named Ruby. One of those complicating factors is that he knows that she is going to die, and he is intent on preventing that from happening. Also of interest are the moments during which the time traveler sees the world running backwards. An Original Timeline There must be an original life of Ruby. Obviously, we can say that she never met Sam. That photo does not need to exist at this point. It should not escape notice, however, that her therapist is also a time traveler from the future, from 2457. It is implied that there are many other time travelers. Enter the Therapist Sam Arrives Many things complicate this. Meeting Ruby Aftermath
10 Apps That Are The Next Best Thing To Being In Space I may have to take a closer look at some of these tonight with the kids. Just this morning we were having a discussion about the movement of the earth, moon, the milky way etc... It would be neat to help them get a good visualization of what I meant. You know, instead of pretending my fist is the earth and my index finger is the moon "this is how is moves!" Warning: These can be VERY addictive. These Are The Seven Best Lesbian Anime Series Ever Made I just recently rewatched Utena after 15 years (?) since I first watched it on dubbed tapes my brother would score. That show is very awesome and very weird. Utena is one of only two anime i've ever repurchased in different formats (the other being Lain). It's hard to call it a yuri series, as it pretty much touches on every sexuality out there, even taboo ones. Lain? Taboo and also extremely damaging ones, i.e. abusive. Actually Utena (TV version) is only as yuri as you choose percieve it. prepare to get mindf*cked. It still has a canon lesbian character though, who actually had one of the better story arcs and moments in the series. One of the best scenes in the series was Nanami discovering Anthy's midnight encounters. The handling of such relationships in Utena, and the fallout there in, was one of the reasons why I hated the ending to Oreimo. Funny, I always kind of thought Utena as a symbol more than Anthy. Possibly.
