Wait, fruit trees? Maybe you've heard they're expensive, take forever to grow and die if you even look at them funny. Furthermore, you don't have enough space in your backyard for an orchard. While it's true that apple trees require a little bit of work, backyard growers are in luck.

Raw Holiday Pecans
The following is adapted from an article by Carissa Leventis-Cox of Mama in the Kitchen, and she ain’t cookin’! My cousin Ami served her father’s Christmas Garlic Pecans a few years ago, and they were delicious and addictive. I think I kept pestering her to make it since then because I never knew that pecans could taste so good. In the past few years, I have discovered other recipes for pecans.

serves up its own ‘Plate’
The Healthy Eating Plate, a visual guide that provides a blueprint for eating a healthy meal, was unveiled today by nutrition experts at Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) in conjunction with colleagues at Harvard Health Publications. Accidentally Vegan
Grocery stores carry an array of great-tasting vegan options, including some items that you might not know are vegan. “Accidentally vegan“ foods are those that were not created intentionally to be marketed to vegan eaters. Many products, including faux franks; veggie burgers; chicken-free chicken patties; flavored soy, almond, and rice milks; nondairy ice creams; and other sensational snacks, are marketed to vegetarians and vegans. However, there’s also an abundance of chips, dips, cookies, candies, frozen pies, soups, and other mouthwatering items produced by some of the most well-known brands that are also vegan.
Chinese Crispy Fried Tofu with Sweet Chili Sauce Recipe
It feels like yesterday, but the memory is fresh. Eons ago, I happened to spot some "white slabs" sitting next to my all time favorite Paneer, in the aisle of the grocery store I frequented. See, I was this good girl who went shopping for my mom during the weekends, all on my own, so that my mom can relax her feet. At times I used to buy other stuff that caught my fancy apart from the list my mom provided.
