Robyn Long - Timeline Photos | Facebook Sallys Baking Addiction Blueberry Sweet Rolls with Lemon Glaze Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Who’s with me in that? Pastries, jumbo muffins, buttermilk pancakes, gooey cinnamon rolls, french toast, crumb-filled coffee cake, granola parfaits, buttery croissants, veggie omelets, coffee, coffee, and more coffee. Oh, and these and these. Most of the time I’m a fruit and yogurt gal. Today’s fruity sweet roll comes from my Easy Cinnamon Roll recipe. You’ll find that the typical sweet roll or homemade bread recipe requires two rises – a first rise of about 1-2 hours, then a second rise for another two hours or overnight. Let’s discuss the filling. Using frozen blueberries means that you can bake these glorious sweet rolls in the dead of winter, too! Since the blueberries are frozen, they will make the dough cold after you fill it, cut into rolls, and allow to rise. The rolls need a warm, draft-free environment to rise. After the rolls have risen and you’ve baked them, it’s time for a glaze. Ingredients: Rolls Filling Sweet Lemon Glaze Directions:

Sallys Baking Addiction Triple Chocolate Pretzel Brownies Decadent chocolate fudge brownies loaded with chocolate covered pretzels and topped with chocolate chips and sea salt. Have you ever tried the ultimate chocolate brownie recipe I shared last year? One-bowl brownies, mixed up in less than 10 minutes, baked, cooled, and ready to devour in under an hour. No mixer, easy clean-up, FUDGE city. Seriously, I’m obsessed with this particular brownie recipe. I went a little bonkers the other day and added dark chocolate covered pretzels to my beloved brownie batter. Anyhoo, Marie LOVES salty/sweet desserts as much as I do and I knew she’d flip for these brownies. So what kind of brownies are these exactly? You’re welcome. You’ll never believe it, but the brownies’ chocolate flavor is from cocoa powder, not pure melted chocolate. Did you know? Today’s brownies are much quicker than your average boxed mix. You need only 1 big mixing bowl, not 100 little bowls to stir this and that together and then add it to this and then whisk that. And! “Sally, wow.”
Clementine Cake Recipe : Nigella Lawson Directions Put the clementines in a pot with cold water to cover, bring to the boil, and cook for 2 hours. Drain and, when cool, cut each clementine in half and remove the seeds. Then finely chop the skins, pith, and fruit in the processor (or by hand, of course). Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Butter and line an 8-inch springform pan with parchment paper. Beat the eggs. Pour the cake mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour, when a skewer will come out clean; you'll probably have to cover the cake with foil after about 40 minutes to stop the top from burning. I've also made this with an equal weight of oranges and lemons, in which case I increase the sugar to 1 1/4 cups and slightly Anglicize it, too, by adding a glaze made of confectioners' sugar mixed to a paste with lemon juice and a little water.

Deep Dish Cinnamon Streusel Dessert Pizza Oh, haiyyy. Just gimme a minute to lick the final cinnamon streusel crumbs off my sticky fingers and attempt to be coherent enough to write something. Or get another slice. Cause coherent thoughts might not be happening. This pizza, and by pizza I mean subtly sweet thick crust topped with a heavy sprinkling of cinnamon streusel crumbs and drizzled with a warm maple glaze, is so distractingly good. And much like yesterday’s awesome chili was inspired by my hoarding of those blue corn and flax tortilla chips from Target, today’s dreamy cinnamon sugar greatness was brought on by a summer trip to the Wisconsin Dells and a fine dining experience at the one and only: Pizza Ranch. I kind of cringed when I wrote that because I’m visualizing of all you fancypants readers sitting there drinking your tea with your pinkies out who will now judge me. Or more like GET JEALOUS. What I found out relearned at the Pizza Ranch is that dessert pizza is basically the world’s most lovable food. Okay. Serves: 8

Sugar Crusted Chocolate Chip Muffins: - StumbleUpon After the holidays I have the hardest time falling back into the rhythm of my normal life. As I sit here looking around and the gift boxes, empty toy boxes and those dang twist-tie things ; and don’t even get me started on the holiday decorations that eventually need to be packed away, I’m feeling extremely disorganized and overwhelmed with it all. I have to work the next couple of days and New Year’s weekend at the hospital and I’m wondering when I’ll get to it all. In the same breath, didn’t I just put all this stuff up? I can tell ya with certainty that I’d rather curl up with these muffins, a cup of coffee and watch endless hours of The Cooking Channel than tackle the after math of Christmas. It all begins with a few basic pantry ingredients. Combine all of the dry ingredients into a large bowl, and add the mini chips. Stir to combine. Crack-alack one egg and measure in the vanilla extract. Drizzle in the grapeseed oil. Add in the milk. Add the wet ingredients into the dry. Yummmmmy…
