Curioso, ¿verdad? Fuentes:
This Awesome Urn Will Turn You into a Tree After You Die | Design for Good |... You don't find many designers working in the funeral business thinking about more creative ways for you to leave this world (and maybe they should be). However, the product designer Gerard Moline has combined the romantic notion of life after death with an eco solution to the dirty business of the actual, you know, transition. His Bios Urn is a biodegradable urn made from coconut shell, compacted peat and cellulose and inside it contains the seed of a tree. Once your remains have been placed into the urn, it can be planted and then the seed germinates and begins to grow. You even have the choice to pick the type of plant you would like to become, depending on what kind of planting space you prefer. I, personally, would much rather leave behind a tree than a tombstone.

Peek Inside the Lamborghini Factory &124; Autopia&&124; Wired.com SANT'AGATA BOLOGNESE, Italy — Not long ago, the phrase "Lamborghini quality" was as laughable as the phrase "monogamous Berlusconi."The Italian automaker founded in 1963 by feisty Ferrari hater Ferruccio Lamborghini built a long line of swoopy exotics that demanded passionate, dedicated drivers — with an equally passionate and dedicated mechanic on speed dial. Several ownership changes over the years, including an ill-fated union with Chrysler in the 1980s didn't help the cause. Lamborghinis inspired lust, but consistency of build and reliability proved elusive.Until the Germans got involved.Audi's takeover of the company in 1998 instigated dramatic changes in how the famed cars from Sant'Agata Bolognese were conceived, developed and constructed.
5 Ways to Segment Your Customer Base Ecommerce businesses need to understand their customers. But it takes time and money to attend to each customer individually. The best strategy is to segregate the customer base into common attributes — called “segments.” This article describes five segmentation strategies that have proven effective, based on my experience consulting with large ecommerce firms. Interests and Preferences When customers register or purchase products on your site, ask them about their interests and preferences. I’m aware of a leading sporting goods site that uses segments based on customer interests. Reward Loyalty Repeat customers generate recurring revenue and serve as marketers for your business. You then have two segments of repeat customers. Expedia has its “Expedia Rewards” program that lets travelers accrue points when they make a reservation. Referral Sites Inactive Customers It’s more expensive to acquire new customers than selling to existing ones. Browsing Devices Conclusion
