The Institute for Creation Research Can Life Exist on Other Planets? Many people make a distinction between the origin of life and the evolution of life. In this view, biological evolution refers to the gradual development of the diversity of living things from a common ancestor, while the ultimate origin of life is a separate question. This is a legitimate point, but evolution is about much more than just biology. The evolutionary worldview is that all of physical existence, both living and non-living, arose through purely natural processes. With this broad definition of evolution, abiogenesis--the spontaneous appearance of life from non-living matter--is a necessity.

MOA MUSEUM OF ART This tea room is a faithful replica of the Golden Tea Room built by the great general Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1586, when he took a portable golden tearoom to the Imperial Palace in Kyoto in order to hold a tea ceremony for Emperor Ogimachi. In January of the following year he had a portable golden tea room moved from Osaka Castle to the Ko-gosho. Here he held a tea party, known as the Grand Kitano Tea Ceremony, at which he himself offered tea to the emperor and Court nobles. Hideyoshi moved the golden tea room not only from Osaka Castle, but also from the castle to Nagoya Castle in Hizen, where he had shifted his headquarters to supervise the dispatch of the expeditionary force to Korea in 1592. The golden tea room was destroyed after the death of Hideyoshi.

Lalbhai Dalpatbhai museum to get ASI loan AHMEDABAD: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has recognised LD Museum as fit to receive long-term loans of sculptures. Recently, the ASI director general's office agreed in principle, to give on loan selected sculptures from historical sites like Modhera, Patan and Kayavarohana in the state which are under it's protection. This is a significant achievement for LD Museum, which over half a century, has emerged as a major repository of Indian art and coinage in the country. So far, the focus of the museum has been Indian sculptures and bronzes and also Indian paintings - particularly based on Jain subjects. Another popular section in the museum, which is being redesigned, is the wooden panel display section and even the domestic woodworks section. The museum recently brought out a special book, 'Treasures from the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum' that contains details of almost every major collection.
