Get Involved – Wycombe Museum Volunteering is a great way to support the Museum – as well as gain new experiences, new skills and socialise with like-minded people. Volunteers are a vital part of our Museum and help across the departments in a variety of roles – from welcoming visitors, helping with arts and crafts sessions, to cataloguing the collection and dealing with public enquiries. We are always thankful for volunteers’ gift of time as well as the diverse skills and experiences they bring- so we do our best to make sure that the experience is rewarding, well managed and enjoyable. All of our volunteers receive an induction into the work and daily life of the Museum. Due to the time it takes to train collections volunteers, there are guidelines for volunteers wishing to work with collections. Want to volunteer? Read our volunteer role descriptions to see how you could help us: If you have any questions call us on 01494 957210 or contact our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@wycombemuseum.org.
