Granny fleur
A few weeks ago I was asked about a Granny pattern in English that could only be found in German. So I translated it, thinking that I may crochet it myself one day because it’s a lovely pattern. Later I’ve learnt that the pattern had been modified and gotten a new name due to a charity project in Somalia. Maybe you don’t know much about the crisis at the horn of Africa, maybe you do. Granny Square “Somalia” Round 1: Magic loop, 7 sc and sst into the first sc (8 stiches). Round 2: chain 3 (counts as a htrc), 1 dc into the first sc of the previous round, chain 2, 2 htrc into each of the sc of the previous round, 1 sst into the first dc. Round 3: New colour in any of the chain 2 space, chain 2, 1 dc into the same space, chain 1, 2dc into each space, chain two, sst in the first dc of the previous round. Round 4: chain 3, 6 dc into the chain 2 space of the previous round, chain 1, 7 dc into each space, chain 1, sst into the first dc. The pattern is written in American Terms Gefällt mir:
One Dog Woof: Crochet Beaded Friendship Bracelet
I have gotten a few requests to put up a pattern for the crocheted beaded friendship bracelets I posted about a while back. I wasn’t sure about the implications of posting something that I figured out from staring at Etsy photos, but after some thought, I don’t think that’s too different than staring at Pinterest photos and doing your own spin on things. Plus, being vague about the general concept of the bracelet didn’t seem to work, so I’m over the guilt, but I’ll let you know if the patent police come after me. For an intro on this project, check out my previous post. Supplies: 2.5mm crochet hook 6 strand embroidery thread 30 size 6 glass beads large sewing needle small enough to go through the beads Abbreviations: sl st: slip stitch ch: chain st: stitch Thread 30 seed beads onto your embroidery floss. Row 1: Leave a 7-8 inch tail. Row 2: Sl st in back ridge of the 2nd ch from hook. Row 3: Ch. 1. The bead part isn’t as hard as it sounds. Row 4: Ch 1.

Granny Bobble Spiral
Hi all, My attempt at a spiral bobble pattern posted here - has been a hit with all you pinners out there, and so I have refined the pattern... Granny Bobble Spiral - And there you have it. It's a bit fiddly at first with lots of ends and loops, but once you get past the 2nd row and the pattern is set the only problem is keeping the 4 balls of wool untangled! Anywho, I hope you like it... Happy crocheting, Karen xx

Lacy granny square
I present to you the newest block in the town! Lets welcome the Lacy granny square ;) It is fun, simple and supercute if I may say so myself :) And it will be a great addition to my BigBrightBlanket. So here comes the scheme!I was drawing the scheme thinking how lacy granny square would be made using just one color. O, and I made up symbol for half double crochet because google hates me ... and the last row I draw black, because I use it only if I need to make the square bigger or end it like typical granny square. So here are some color variations of this square I have already made :) Hope you'll have fun with it too! p.s.
