Tout a commencé lorsque je démarrais dans la vie active et que j’ai découvert que le vestiaire dont je rêvais, qui me suivrait du bureau au week-end et serait en phase avec notre époque, n’existait pas. Alors, pourquoi ne pas l’imaginer moi-même ? Une première collection de cravates est née, qui bousculait cet indispensable. Southern California artist-turned-hairstylist Janine Ker specializes in candy-colored hair tattoos and carvings. On a short brunette bob, for example, she stenciled on retro cassette tapes, and added rainbow dots to rose-gold hair. Janine has been making a statement with hair since the third grade, when she got her first pixie cut. Janine currently works at Salon Aguayo in Pasadena, and her work there is still largely informed by her past.
