Why it's so fun to train on Airtracks

You may be wondering why more and more people are getting Airtracks for their backyard instead of the classic trampoline. It's a trend we have seen grow over the last few years and if you ask me it's a good reason for this. While jumping on a trampoline most certainly can be fun (I do it a lot myself) it just doesn't give you the same options as when you use an Airtrack.
In my opinion - trampolines are great for those who really know how to use it and has a lot of gymnastic experience, or for whose with little experience. If you got zero gymnastic skills you will most likely find that the trampoline is more fun to use. But once you become better you will want to try new things that you can't do on the trampoline. When you become a  little better at doing the various jumps and flips you will want to add some more speed and combine them into series of jump. This is super fun btw. Something that just isn't possible on the trampoline. So here the Airtrack starts to become more fun to use than a trampoline or just the floor. Combining 3-4 jumps or flipz boosted by the Airtrack is a great way to train and do stuff that wouldn't be possible to do without Airtracks. The longer and thicker Airtrack you try it on, the more fun it will be. Here is a little more information on this topic - https://buddypress.org/members/airtrackmatte/profile/

So why do I say that trampolines are almost more fun when you get a lot of gymnastic experience? Well with a high quality trampoline like the Berg models you can get a huge amount of additional height on your jumps. This enables you to do maybe 3-4 tricks before landing on the trampoline again. Doing this requres a lot of practice so it's now something you should expect to be able to do without a few months after getting a trampoline. Here you will be better of with an Airtrack to train your jumps on and combinding jumps into series. Because you will fast reach a level where the Airtracks are more fun than the trampoline and it will takes years before getting enough experience to enjoy the trampoline more. I would in most cases recommend buying an Airtrack instead of a trampoline. But if you should prefer a trampoline - get a Berg one - they are so much better when it comes to performance, quality and safety.
Not sure what types of jumps and flips you can do on the Air track? See more here at https://www.pearltrees.com/airtrack

If you want to make it even more fun to use your Airtrack - try combine it with an Airbarrel, a landingmat or incline mat. Or even better another Airtrack if you get a model with a velcro connector. That way you will have twice the length to play on which makes it a lot more fun to use. That is why I often recommend that you get 2 Airtracks with a length of 3 meters instead of a 5 or 6 meter model. Often you can find room for a 3 meter indoor to practice when the weather is bad outdoor or during the winter. But it's much harder to fit a 6 meter Air track indoor. It's a lot easier to carry 2 smaller ones, instead of one long Air-track which can be pretty heavy. But do yourself a favour and try setting up various tumble tracks in your garden and try it with some of your friends - it's some of the best fun and most healty type of fun you can get.
