Determined BLG but JDG holds on for a two-set win

The two-set match between Jingdong Gaming and Biribiri Gaming in the Bracket Stage of the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational at the Copper Box Arena in London on Thursday was won by Jingdong Gaming. Biribiri Gaming opened the way with a determined battle, but a patient Jingdong Gaming capitalized on their opponent's mistakes to close out the game.

Jingdong Gaming Bottom took the lead in game two after taking game one. In the aftermath of this battle, Biribiri Gaming's support Alistair failed to reach level 6 in the Herald of the Gorge battle, and the snowball gave Jingdong Gaming the victory in the Herald battle.

With the game looking like a repeat of Game 1, Fnatic took a more aggressive approach to the fight. Using jungler Bai's confirmation ultimate, the entire team pounced on the 'Ruler' and took out their opponent to win the dragon battle. This battle gave the team a chance to turn the tide.

Biribiri Gaming's second decisive kill came. With their opponents clustered in the center to push the mid lane tower, Biribiri Gaming opened up the fight by teleporting behind their lane. The Ruler, who was stuck behind Fiora and forced to use Blink, got a Dilos in the one-hit, and the team took the Baron buff in a big one-hit win.

Biribiri Gaming sided with Fiora to increase the gold gap. However, head-to-head fights are not easy and Jingdong Gaming took their time. This was when things went awry for Biribiri Gaming. 'Elk', who had been positioned somewhat dangerously throughout the game, was caught by Jingdong Gaming and lost his blink. Jingdong Gaming took advantage of this and used the Baron to open up a hantar, which they won big. Closing out the difficult game was 'Ruler', who scored a triple kill in the final laning, ending the long game in victory.
