Students study towards GCSEs at secondary school over period of two years usually at year 10 and 11. At the end of year 11, students will take the 16+ assessments—in the subjects which they have opted to take for A level or IB. As students enter Year 12, they would begin either A-level courses, Cambridge Pre-U courses, or will pursue the IB Diploma—in case they would like their qualifications to be internationally recognised.
