LCK Legendaries, a digital collectibles service, launches beta service

Legendary, the official IP licensing partner of the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), announced today that it has launched a beta service for its digital collectibles service, LCK Legendary.

LCK Legends is a service that allows users to collect and trade digital cards that combine images of famous LCK players such as Lee "Faker" Sang-hyuk and Chobi "Chobi" Jeong-hoon, as well as champion images, match records, and match highlights selected by the players, and interact with each other through official discs.

The service is attracting a lot of attention as it is the first of its kind in the world under the close collaboration of Riot Games, LCK, and Legends.

The digital cards will be sold in limited quantities per season for a total of seven times, including the LCK regular season and playoffs, and will come in packs of two to five cards each, divided into four tiers based on the quality of match highlights. LCK Legendaries will be able to purchase packs in four tiers ranging from $9 to $60. The Starter Pack will go on sale for $9 on the seventh day of league play, followed by the Standard, Elite, and Premium packs for the 2023 LCK Spring Regular Season on the 12th.

Fans can also purchase Player Of The Game (POG) tickets, which will be available in limited editions immediately following each match, and receive a digital card featuring the player named POG.

Along with this, there will be quests to collect various themed cards for each team you support, with rewards such as priority access to special cards if you meet the requirements.

In addition, depending on the activity performance, we plan to sequentially hold rich events such as viewing benefits including tickets to the LCK Finals and special gifts with player autographs through discos.

'LCK Legendaries' will start the beta service of digital collectibles on the official website from today (July 7), and to celebrate the launch, the first to receive a welcome pack of their favorite team will be given away.

In addition, users who sign up on the official website and select their favorite team will receive a free welcome pack.

"We will share 50% of the LCK's digital collectible sales with the teams to help ensure the smooth operation of the league and its teams," said Bae Seung-ik, CEO of Legendless. "To celebrate the launch, we will present special VIP gifts to players, managers, and coaches who have contributed to the development of the LCK as a sign of gratitude and respect."
