Source….www.itln.in July 11, 2019: Pharma logistics is expected to get a shot in the arm when the Swissport Pharma Center is completed by 2021 in a phased approach. Swissport is investing several million euros in developing approximately 3,620 sqm of end-to-end facilities in the new Swissport Pharma Center. To be constructed by the Brussels Airport Company, the building will consist of a 25,000 square metre advanced warehouse, a material handling system, four-storey office building and approximately 3,620 sqm of end-to-end facilities.
The construction began in January 2019, and will take about two years to complete, following a phased approach. The Thursday flight will run until September 18, with the possibility of an extension depending on demand. The KM4280 flight will depart Malta at 00:40 hours and arrive in Tbilisi at 06:30 hours. The ruling was delivered by a three-judge panel. In a statement, Amazon Air aircraft supplier Atlas Air said that the court affirmed a federal district court ruling that ordered the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Airline Division, and Local Union No. 1224 (collectively, the IBT) to stop taking part in strikes, call in sick or cause work slowdowns. The flight will be operated on a Boeing 737-700BCF with a payload capacity of approximately 18 tons. The freighter will carry palletised cargo, dangerous goods, odd size cargo, aerosols, power banks and batteries, speakers and consignments with magnetic content and liquids. Source….www.itln.in July 3, 2019: The Union Cabinet has given its nod for the leasing out of Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Mangaluru airports of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) through Public Private Partnership to Adani Enterprise.
In February this year, Ahmedabad-based Adani group had won the right to the privatisation of six airports put up by the government. These airports included Lucknow, Jaipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangaluru, Ahmedabad and Guwahati. Adani group had emerged the highest bidder for all six airports, quoting the highest per passenger fee to be paid to AAI on a monthly basis.
