As part of the program, sponsored by the U.S. World War I Centennial Commission and the Pritzker Military Library & Museum, teachers developed lesson plans relating to World War I and its lasting legacies. Entitled Great War, Flawed Peace, and the Lasting Legacy of World War I, these lesson plans were designed for middle school and high school teachers to help students understand wartime experiences as well as the lasting legacies of the First World War. Developed in partnership with the U.S. World War I Teaching Materials Women in American History Together with HISTORY® we created a resource about Women in American History.
