In order to underline the clinical quality of the pharmacy, the shelves are in high gloss and sharp. The soft and sensual curve created by the 70 linear feet of the undulating shelves provide warmth and playfulness. The bright green floor, made of a pattern of band-aids hand drawn by Sergio Mannino with his typical sketching style bring warmth by introducing humor and a casual friendliness. PHARMACIES! The octagonal shape of the existing structure was re-formed into a cylinder in order to create a spiral which seeks to converse with the rapid motion on Vouliagmenis Avenue, the urban artery on which the building stands. This is the new brand and pharmacy concept created by MARKETING-JAZZ for the Elsa Acosta Licensed Pharmacy in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The pharmacy is divided into areas, according to the products being sold, the desired shopping experience and the brand positioning. Special care has been taken to ensure that customer traffic flows and covers the whole pharmacy. There are waiting areas for the elderly next to the counters, where they can be served without having to get out of their seat, with the SantaCruz pharmacy staff doing their “health shop” for them. Superdrug’s new store concept starts to address that need. The lively, fashionable and relevant environment enlivens the brand and compares favourably at every level, from the volume trader to the department store. The new concept takes its cues from the fashion market, reflecting trends exploited by high-fashion multiples, rather than Superdrug’s direct competition. The required authority in pharmacy, health, and personal care is retained and enhanced, but a new layer of style and energy has been created to promote cosmetics, beauty and perfumery. It is a type business establishment very particular and highly typified. In fact, installing Drugstores has followed a range of standards and rules that, on the one hand respect the regulations themselves, on the other stem mostly from a kind of “dictatorship” promotional, sales associated with products marketed. The fact that these companies are specialized in this type of work, contributes decisively to the systematization and replay solutions. Dr. Perissinotti wanted to express his personality and create a pleasant and comfortable workspace in his new pharmacy. Pearl white marble and neutral shades dominate the finishing against powder blue, to emphasize certain elements and different geometrical intersections such as frosted glass, lacquered or polycarbonate doors. From the time the actual medicine – drug became industrialized and not made by the pharmacist so did the the image of the establishment as well. This pharmacy in Gazi Crete Greece tries to tie the knot between specified ergonomics and needs of the trade to a modern design approach. The young pharmacist wanted a key in shop which will provide a fresh image, an easily recognized brand, an affordable construction and reduction in running costs. The materials mostly used are reclaimed wood surfaces painted with ecological water based lacquer, the wall paint is also ECO certified, the illumination is low consumption t5 and led bulbs, part of the energy consumption is provided by solar panels on the roof and finally there is a small water filtering device so the grey water can irrigate the surrounding garden.
