Please ensure you read the applications and admissions procedure before applying. Late applications will not be considered under any circumstances (see deadline details below). There is an intake of up to 28 students in September each year. Auditions run from November until June, with an option of auditioning in London, Manchester, Leicester, Dublin and New York. It is RADA's policy to audition all eligible applicants who apply before the deadline. All applications must be submitted by post with the registration fee (£80 for applications received after 19 December 2013). The registration fee is non-refundable. The application deadline for the London auditions is Saturday 1 March 2014.

The Conservatoire is a publicly-funded institution. This means that UK and EU students are eligible for government-sponsored loans and grants as well as financial aid provided by the Conservatoire and schools. Applications are direct to the school, not through UCAS, but this does not affect the ability to obtain financial support. Musical Theatre is comprised of three disciplines: dance, music, and theatre.

The Musical Theatre audition includes participation in a dance class, song repertoire, acting requirement and an interview with department faculty. Dance Requirements: Applicants will be taught a jazz combination specific to Musical Theatre. Applicants should come in appropriate attire for moving (see Dance Department requirements for attire specifications). All applicants should wear jazz shoes.
