Designed by Toronto Architect Jason Halter, the house has been custom designed to suit his clients’ specific tastes which Jason describes as being “iconoclastic”. Although the unmodified shipping containers themselves are fabricated in China (China manufactures the large majority of new shipping containers) all of the modification work (Cut and framing of all window and door openings, interior openings, structural reinforcements, window installation and exterior paint) were undertaken at our Toronto, Canada modification facility.
