It is an extremely versatile fashion accessory and can be worn in a number of ways but not only that it is simple to make, the adapted Cockleshell Lace border is easier than it looks. I used my Slinky Sock Yarn which is a combination Superwash Merino and Tencel (originates from wood pulp of all things!) , has a silky look and is machine washable, however it would be possible to make this garment in any sockweight yarn.
