Controlling a Poppy ergo using the Leap Motion This demonstration was realized during a the workshop/hackathon jointly organized by the Cité des Sciences in Paris and the Flowers group at Inria in october. The Leap Motion tracks the movements of the human hand and send the values to the robot actuators. This allows quite a precise control of the robot to, e.g., grasp a plastic glass, as shown at the end of the Hackathon main video. The code to reproduce this demonstration is available on github. It mainly corresponds to a glue between the pypot library controlling the robot movements and the Leap Motion SDK to track the human movements.
