Bang Bang Shrimp
Time for another delicious football snack! This one would be good for a nice dinner too though! So this is supposed to be like the Bonefish dish with the same name but I’ve never had the dish so I can’t really say how close it is to the real thing. I can, however, say that it is amazing. Not going to lie, it was quite a bit of work because you have to deep fry the shrimp but seriously worth all the time spent staring into the pot of oil. It’s spicy but not so spicy that your mouth is on fire.

Pizza Nacho Recipe
We love watching football at our house. We don’t always cheer for the same team, but that’s ok…as long as my team wins..ha! Caleb is already getting in on the action too. Every time he sees a football game on TV he yells ball. He also throws his hands up in the air, making the touchdown sign, and yells Ta-down. He doesn’t quite have the entire word mastered yet:)
Crock Pot Chicken Chili Con Queso
How was your long weekend? Mine was extremely busy with painting our house’s trim, entertaining and kids. But it was great and the weather helped.:) Amongst all the cooking I got done during the weekend, was this fragrant, creamy and cheesy Crock Pot Chicken Chili Con Queso – a hybrid of chicken chili and famous Tex Mex cheesy dip known as Chile Con Queso. Just to make sure we are on the same page, this recipe is not a dip.
Crispy Cheddar Chicken
I have a simple dinner recipe for you today. Simple and easy and tasty and smile provoking…an all around treasure. I love it when smiles are provoked. Heck. I’ll take a smile from my kids even without provoking it! It’s just so much nicer when people smile instead of whine.
How To Make French Onion Soup
I’ve tried French onion soup in a few restaurants but I never liked it. Probably because I tried it at chain places that used frozen or dehydrated. But from what’s in it — beef broth and roasted onions — this is something I should just love. So I decided to make some for myself and see. And, surprise, when made with real ingredients … this stuff is good. (But I still need a good copycat recipe for onion soup mix to use in recipes, like dip.
Healthy Baked Chicken Nuggets
Chunks of all white meat chicken breasts coated in breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese then baked until golden. An easy chicken recipe your whole family will love. What can be more kid friendly than chicken nuggets, even the pickiest kids like them. Serve them with ketchup, bbq sauce or whatever you like to dip your nuggets into. Adults can serve them over your favorite salad for a satisfying lunch.
Chicken Rollatini with Spinach alla Parmigiana
Baked chicken breasts rolled with spinach and ricotta topped with pomodoro sauce and melted mozzarella. A dish the whole family will love! Since making chicken rollatini stuffed with prosciutto and cheese a few weeks back my husband has been craving chicken rollatini the way he grew up eating it, stuffed with cheese and topped with sauce and more cheese.
Ricotta, Mushroom, and Herb Stuffed Chicken Breasts
Ricotta, Mushroom, and Herb Stuffed Chicken Breasts I found this recipe on 365 Days of Food that I adapted and made for dinner. This chicken was a huge hit with my husband and my friend who was over for dinner.
Onion Strings
Please note: This is one of my all-time favorite recipes. Thank you for listening. But lawsy mercy, ladies and gentlemen. I know they don’t look it, but these teeny tiny, thinly-sliced fried onions are so pleasantly flavorful and crisp, and such an utterly perfect accompaniment for so many different main courses, they really need to be placed on some list of Culinary Triumphs of All Time. Yes Siree.
