Edublogs Publishes an Extensive Guide to Classroom Podcasting Podcasting has had a resurgence over the last couple of years. Part of that resurgence is due to the increase in easy-to-use tools for creating podcasts as well as an increase in platforms through which you can listen to podcasts. Anchor.fm is one of those easy-to-use podcast creation tools. I featured it in a video in my tip of the week in late February. The folks at Edublogs were kind enough to share it with their followers and include it in their new comprehensive guide to classroom podcasting. The Edublogger's Guide to Podcasting includes examples of student-created podcasts, examples of teacher-produced podcasts, directions for recording a podcast, and directions for publishing a podcast.

Today I will show how I use the Battleship game to drill and practise irregular verbs in a fun way. Basically, you meet your mates and have regular fun until someone says “I totally have to show you something on YouTube…” And boom, the YT party begins because everyone has seen something to share with friends. And, oh, the depths of the Internet you may visit… If you teach teenagers or digitally aware adults you may enjoy a little YT party as well, just try to moderate the videos presented by students as some of the videos may turn out to be somewhat inappropriate. If you want to avoid potential embarrassment, try to show some EFL-friendly channels.
Katherine Bilsborough: A simple idea - The Weekend Game A simple Idea For me, the best classroom activities are usually the most simple, requiring little or no preparation time and few or no materials. They are activities that can be adapted to use effectively with groups of different sizes, levels or ages and they can be used again and again even with the same students. The Weekend Game Educational Games We have a variety of educational games including word, puzzle, math, geography, arcade, sports, and typing games. Some are educational games (i.e math, geography, etc.) and some are just for fun (i.e. arcade, sports). The games above provided by Ducksters are relatively simple games that are generally puzzle or educational games.
