Data gathering tools (new, to me) As a genealogist that conducts much of his research on the web, good data and image gathering tools are extremely helpful. As a person who relies heavily on the PC as a genealogical repository and information processor, tools that help me sort and process the information I gather are highly valued (prized). The main advantage to using a dedicated tool like this is that it filters out the noise from standard search engines (Google, Bing, etc) by harvesting data from family search websites. They also include searches in digital documents that they make available via their website (Mocavo Documents) Mocavo also offer a multitude of facets that can be used to filter out content such as date of birth, excluding words and word proximity. Unfortunately this feature is available to premium users (for a fee) only.
