Not only do they look fantastic but they are practical and a great way to upcycle some of those tin cans we constantly throw away. Paint your tin can inside and out using either water based enamel or acrylic paint. Both dry really quickly and leave a slight shine when dry. I used enamel paint for the colour and white acrylic paint for the inside both of which only needed three layers. I did try to use white enamel paint but it was so unforgiving, needed a ridiculous amount of layers and didn’t leave an even coat.

So after recently spotting a tutorial on how to DIY gold dipped stemware, I was inspired to create my own version of these luxurious golden vessels. And of course, just in time for that New Year’s Eve party I’ll be hosting this year! You’ll need:non-toxic gold spray paint (I recommend Krylon)champagne flutes or wine glassespainters tapeplastic or ziplock bag Rip off a 6 inch piece of tape. Center the tape over the base of the glassware, rubbing the bottom edge against the glass. Bring one side of the tape across the middle of the glass. Bring the other side of the tape across so the two pieces meet at a point. Lightly spray multiple and even coats of paint onto the glass from a couple feet away. DIY Crepe Paper Flowers. Since fresh flowers aren’t always in the budget, and because I have a brown thumb, I started thinking about what I could do to brighten up our apartment with flowers without actually using flowers. The bottom end of one bottle can become a lid that will fit many others, all different sizes and shapes, to create tons of variations. Cut the bottom ends off some bottles.
