Dubbed the ‘Third Industrial Revolution’: the high-tech DIY culture of the maker movement has expanded from the realms of tinkerers, geeks and gearheads to the world of product designers, artists and pioneers. From the rise of digital technologies such as 3D printing and rapid prototyping, to the collaborative maker spaces and open-source manifestos that encourage sharing and innovation, the Modern Makers forum will explore this emerging Do-It-Together spirit and the future of making.
