Sorry I keep making a bunch of Peeta food. You may recall the goat cheese and apple tart from when The Hunger Games came out in theaters. Don't hate, but I'm not actually on "team Peeta". I mean, don't get me wrong, Peeta's a cool person and everything, but Peeta and I are like... the same person. You know, sometimes I wonder if he's actually my great-great-great grandson.
Anyways, even if we weren't related, I need a real man who can protect me from psychopathic teenagers in the woods. But what food does Gale have to offer? See, since Peeta and I have the same mind, I know exactly what he would bake. Not that I'm actually going to make these again tomorrow night when we watch the movie. But Peeta, you still are my grandson, even if I'm not on your "team". These only take about an hour. Chocolate Magic Cake Recipe | Chocolate Cake Recipe.

Lemon Bars. Caramel Apple Pie Cupcakes. It seems like once the weather cools down everyone wants to jump right into pumpkin season. Don’t get me wrong, I love pumpkin as much as anyone else, but to me September is apple season. I was thinking about how often apples get overshadowed by pumpkin a few weeks ago when my husband asked me if I wanted to attend a dinner party with some of his coworkers. “Hrmmm. Maybe…”, I said. “They asked us to bring some kind of food to share”, he said. That was all I needed to hear. It took me a while to decide on an approach for these cupcakes. Ultimately, I decided the best way to pack that punch of apple flavor into a cupcake was to use apple pie filling. I was apprehensive while putting these cupcakes together.

Mr. Why do my macarons have hollow shells? A work in progress. This is especially true first thing in the morning before tastebuds have been doused and ruined by unhealthy cereals and juices, and when close talking is always strictly prohibited. I’ve been known to shamelessly slice myself a piece or two before the toll of 8AM. However I have no sense of restraint, so my early morning cake eating is akin to riding through a bad coke binge, or so I’d assume.
I will take one lick of frosting, then by 9AM my lips are coated in a thick, sticky film of chocolate, half the cake is missing and my pants are somehow missing. The totem of all cakes is, of course, cheesecake. Even considering the likes of thick, molten fudge-filled lava cakes, chilled ice cream-stuffed cakes and Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls, cheesecake reigns supreme.
