Learning News, Videos, Reviews and Gossip - Lifehacker I totally agree, but don't think that wikipedia-surfing is a good example, because you search for stuff that you want to know (or maybe easier to understand) while when reading a scrience book f.e. you have to read all the way through the article, even if some parts are harder to understand I tend to agree as well, but I've found that as someone who strives to learn almost to the exclusion of all else in my life, when that learning is severely depressed by any of a variety of factors, I'm encouraged to drink. Maybe dumb people don't 'not care,' but they're just not as capable of learning, and lack to means of acquiring the necessary facilitation to expand their minds. Or, maybe you're right and they don't care. I think, as the years go on, I've come to believe that intelligence levels and opportunities are a lot more situational than I'd once thought. But yes, the desire, the motivation is a key factor in anything.
Big Think There are only two events in the universe that defy the laws of physics: black holes and the big bang, and while scientists try to explain them, crucial evidence may be eaten up in the meantime. SciShow discusses science news and history and concepts. With equal parts skepticism and enthusiasm, we go a little deeper...without going off the deep end. Most of the time, anyway. by mrpearl Mar 30
I absolutely adore this resource! It never ceases to amaze with innovate and ingenius science videos, discoveries, phenomena and investigation. This particular video is appropriate for a variety of ages, but definitely for grades 5-8. It is entitled: Top 10 New Species and the First Fusion Reactor. In it, Hank shares the week in science news, including the top 10 new species discovered in 2014, and the start of construction of the first fusion reactor. It's B I G ! ! ! by drsinasoul May 27
Merci. ont choisi minute physique et souscrit à la fois. (thank you. have picked minute physics and subscribed to both.) by ebbead Mar 17
